eros-and-hysteria:

compulsory heterosexuality is one of the most damaging aspects of patriarchy. young women are never even given the chance to develop themselves as individuals with their own thoughts and interests - since before they have sexual feelings, they’re socialized into believing that a romantic relationship with a man is essential to their worth. the approval of men becomes the center of a woman’s life instead of the fostering her creative and intellectual capacities. it’s a cliche, but i’ve had many friendships end because she disappeared upon partnering up with a man. consistently women are told that men and their relationships with them are of more worth than women and their friendships with other women, which is a brilliant tool of the patriarchy to break solidarity. we isolate ourselves from other women, we turn our anger towards other women, we view them as enemies instead of the aggressor.

What? Bisexual? She can’t be bisexual, you’re only bisexual if you’re actively fucking two people of two differing genders at the same exact time. The moment you stop fucking them you’re suddenly not bi anymore. It’s science.

I suppose that means we bi people exist in quantum superposition until someone observes us having sex.

So a boyband walked onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage and everyone thought they were going to sing One Direction or something typical…and then they sung Stars from Les Miserables.

This is the best thing ever. Just listen to those harmonies <3

“And with that, we get a rollicking final “Time Warp.” Kurt, who hasn’t been featured nearly enough in this episode, manages to be better with his few lines as Riff Raff than anybody else. But at this point, that’s no surprise. Is there anyone on T.V. required to be so versatile? Every week, they make such extreme demands on Chris Colfer, and he’s always up to them. Next week they could ask him to do a hip-hop version of an opera aria in a chicken suit and he’d pull it off.”
